Korat PotteryPottery is produced by both males and females in Thai-Isan culture. Almost all of the pieces of pottery in this collection were produced using the "paddling technique." This technique appears to be much older than the "wheel technique," and was the pottery technique used during the famous Ban Chaig era. Because Thai-Isan pottery is made by both men and women, it can be interpreted as an "intergated effort of both men and women in Tha-Isan culture." |
